I did some cleaning on my shelves today. Junks of papers were
finally removed. Meanwhile I realize some interesting notes I
had written in the past during my three months JC admission.
I remembered taking higher mathematics, geography, physic,
economics, general paper and Chinese as my H1 and H2 subjects.
Those days were really study period for mie. As usual I did all
those tutorials and attend every lecture daily. During my
geography lesson which I supposed it would be a good fun start
since I liked this subject in my secondary school days. But it
turned out to be horrible. We each were given some worksheets
to do and were instructed to complete them by the end of the
lesson. Tutorial One: Identify which volcano/ dfgshdf10 volcanic
island in which country, Locate and name the following rivers,
mountain ranges and Draw boundaries of tectonic plates with
labels. Wth, I don’t even know how to do a single one without
any help from text. All I managed to answer on the worksheets
is Mt Fuji is located in Japan and Taal is located in Philippines!
How would I know Mt Ethna, Erta Ale, Nyiragongo, Vesuvius,
Azores ………….. are located at? I didn’t even take pure geo.
Worst still geography lectures can drive mie to sleep immediately.
It’s all about those Mother Earth’s crust and plates theory.
Horrible subject! Mathematics is much better than any other
subjects even though each topics taught was getting difficult.
I find this funny all because I entered the three months JC
without the intention of going into JC and almost all my
surrounding friends landed into SRJC due to their points which
wasn’t their first ideal choice. But I made good friends there
during my stay and until now they still remembered mie. They
shouted my name loud at the same time when I happened to walk
past the fast food restaurant they were dining at. I miss their
lamest jokes! They cracked jokes almost everyday so it somehow
became an almost daily routine for them to “brighten” the day. Till
now they were still together as a bonding class.
